Carina would sometimes wonder where she got her thing for cooking. Even when she was little, she prepared meals with ease. No one taught her how to do it, so she felt that it could be something innate in her. When she told her dad about it, her dad smiled at her. So she asked him, Why are you smiling like that, daddy? You seem to know something that I don't. Her dad moved closer to her, looked at her and said, Just when I thought that your brown eyes and long, black hair are all that you got from your mother, I was wrong. Now that you're telling me this, I think I have to tell you that your mom used to be a caterer in Leicester. Yes, she cooked very well. As a matter of fact, if you were much older when she was still around, she would have passed on her recipes to you. Her dad stopped for a while because he had to wipe his tears. It has been ten years, but he still misses his wife so much.
