Every country in the world should make a point of protecting its people. This can be done in a number of ways and one of the ways is to make a point of seeing to it that the boarders are well guarded so that the citizens of that particular country access what is rightfully theirs. What this means is that the security forces at the boarder should not let in those who are from other countries through the boarder unless they come from a country that is war stricken. The immigration act states that people should not enter the uk unless their lives are threatened by war, the government of where they come from and related matters. it is for this reason that the officials should make sure that there is regulation of those who come through the boarders of uk. This will ensure that the citizens of uk can get what is theirs since there will be a few people from other countries who should be looked in every way after by the uk government. |

Think of a situation where you have your travel plan well mapped out and you have all that is needed and a few days before your trip you realize that your passport is missing! Where do you go from here? This is a situation i met myself in when i was barely a week from traveling and i knew that i had everything that was needed. On realizing that my passport was lost, the first thing that happened was panic. Then i figured out the panic was only destroying me and eventually would not solve the problem at hand at that particular moment. This is when i figured out that i had to look for a way to solve the problem. The first thing to do is be with no doubt that the passport is nowhere and you have not just misplaced it. The next thing from here is to report the matter to passport issuance authorities and give your case to lost passports department. who will speedup your getting another passport in a number of days. This means that you do not have to cancel your plans. |

Countries do things differently and what seems normal for one country may be totally weird in the other. That is why when you visit another country or place you have never been before it is good that you find out the way things are done here because you do not want to make mistakes in any way and end up being humiliated. I have been told for a number of times that when in Rome you should do what Romans do and in the same way if in India or UK you should do what the people of that place do otherwise embarrassments will come your way. If you are an Indian citizen residing in the uk, you can be able to get passport information from the Indian embassy in the uk. One should know how to go about getting the passports because what you will need to do to have passport india information is not only from the embassy but also on google. Indian are now valid for ten years and not five as they were years ago. |

Due to the increasing need of people especially those who travel a lot to have quick processed passports, the uk government has come up with a way that the passport process can be renewed withing a very short period. It is quite evident that, passport renewals have been ignore by a lot of people and this becomes a necessity only when they want to travel and the time is not on their side. Well, this once happened to me when I was to go for a vacation with my family over in the Bahamas. Yes, I knew that I needed to renew my passport by I did not actually take it that serious. When it was just but two weeks to the travel date, I remembered that I was to renew it and therefore had to contact the passport renewal enquiry department for the full details on what I am supposed to do. I was advised to pay slightly more processing fees so that, I can get the passport in like a week or so. Since I had no option, I just payed the extra fees and the passport was processed in a week. It is always advisable also to log on to the immigration site so as to familiarize yourself with this things. So, if you are to travel or take a vacation, it is very important to ensure that you have your passport ready. Nowadays, it goes up to 10 years of validity and for the children's passports, they go up to 5 years. |

Daniel travels rarely, the last time he traveled was ten years ago, and after that he stashed his passport away until now. His daughter is getting married outside the country and there is no way he is missing his little girl&rsquos wedding, she would not forgive him if he missed the best day of her life and he was not intending to miss it. His daughter knew that her father did not travel mush so she told him to check his passport and see if needed to renew it at that time because he had time for the wedding was in six months. When he checked out the passport, it was expired so the process of renewing it was in order. He went over to the passport office and asked about the passport fees. He must have known that in ten years, the fee would have gone high but he did not know that so he was appalled by the new fees for renewing his passport and he thought of his daughter and decided to comply and pay the right amount of fees so that there would be no problems with the passport renewal process. |
